70+ Years of History

A Grand Milestone in Grand Lake!

Grand Lake’s favorite historic ice cream shop is hitting a double milestone! This year, we are celebrating

10 Years of Ceaira and 73 Years of Sweet Shop!

Since purchasing the shop in 2016, Ceaira has poured her heart into preserving this local treasure. This season is a truly historic one: Ceaira officially becomes the shop’s second-longest-running owner, following only the legendary Polly herself from the original Polly’s Sweet Shop.

As a cornerstone of town history, we are honored to be featured on the Grand Lake Historical Society’s Walking Tour and to proudly display our official historic plaque. While we cherish our 1950s roots, the shop is busier than ever! Over the last decade, Ceaira has revitalized the menu, adding a massive variety of new treats, creative flavors, and modern favorites to our classic lineup.

& WHAT WE DO

Welcome to Ceaira’s Sweet Shop, the Sweetest Spot in Grand Lake, Colorado!

Our shop has been a favorite destination for generations, with roots dating back to the 50’s when it was primarily known as Polly’s Sweet Shop. Back when Ceaira was in college, she worked a couple seasons for the previous owners and fell so in love with the shop. As luck would have it, Ceaira would then have the opportunity to buy the shop in 2016! The charming town of Grand Lake inspired her to take the reins and bring her unique style to the business, always expanding the menu and trying out new, fun ideas!

Located on the boardwalk and just a few minute walk from the lake, Ceaira’s Sweet Shop is the perfect place to enjoy a sweet treat after a day out on the water or a nice, long hike!

We are a seasonal shop, so be sure to visit us during our operating months to experience the joy that only a trip to Ceaira's Sweet Shop can provide!
